Day 6 :: Gratitude

Practicing gratitude has incredible effects, from improving mental health to boosting our relationships with others.
And expressing gratitude daily for all we’ve received and experienced is an excellent way of tapping into pleasure. It helps to increase our awareness of pleasurable events and rewires our nervous system to be on the lookout for pleasure in our day to day life, no matter how big or small!

@self_love_and_pleasure suggests this very simple yet powerful practice, every day for one week: 
1. Grab a journal and a pen.
2. Sit down comfortably, close your eyes, and place a hand over your heart.
3. Take five deep breaths.
4. Write down three things for which you are grateful. 
5. Repeat every day for seven days.

Today, I’m grateful for my health, my sweet kitty, and the wonderful people in my life who support and influence me.
